P&ID for Bi-Prop Torch Igniter
As a part of the WISR student group I developed the diagram for a facility to test the GCH4/GOX igniter.
I'm a UW Aerospace Engineering student from Madison, WI. A fan of aircraft and spacecraft of all kinds, I closely follow the latest news and am currently working on both solid propellant model rockets and liquid propulsion. I have my L2 High Power Rocketry Certification and several years of rocketry experience. Outside of aerospace, I'm a big fan of radio-control vehicles, electronics, and self-hosted servers.
As a part of the WISR student group I developed the diagram for a facility to test the GCH4/GOX igniter.
In the spring of 2022 I received my L2 cert, after getting my L1 the past fall.
In this rocket competition I designed and integrated a control system to work with Ardupilot to autonomously guide the glider to the waypoint with GPS.
Along with the glider, I also developed a telemetry system for the rocket to send GPS, Altitude, and other data over radio.
